A store chain of OGGI shop expands the assortment by means of man and child clothes.
A store chain of woman clothes and accessories OGGIO, which is belong to OOO “August”, plans start up line of child clothes. Announcement about searching a designer and a Bayer of child clothes is placed on site of the company. Representative of OGGI staff office has confirmed that the development of this line has been started. When child clothes appear in the store chain, he doesn’t confirm.
It’s the next step in universalization of the shops- in august, according to OGGI manager’s words sale of man clothes will begin, this line will be presented in 100 shops of the store chain. OGGI commercial manager Philip Kapchic declined to comment.
Arkady Pecarevsky, SELA vice-president thinks that investments in start-up child line are several million dollars. He adds that success of the direction depends on pricing policy, customer’s expectations and OGGI advertizing campaign.

If OGGI manage to keep democratic prices on child assortment, in this case there will be quest on this assortment, because buyers of the brand are potential mothers.
Irina Staroverova, PR-manager of OJSC “Melon Fashion Group” is sure that market of child goods isn’t taken and with reasonable approach you may take your own place. According to her words, her company has considered the possibility of starting up a child line, but it hasn’t experience and understanding.
Accordingly to marketing agency Step by Step, last year, market volume of child clothes in Russia was $6, 2 milliards, in 2010 year it would be about $7, 2 milliards.
