2009 is a year of tests of the companies for durability. The year when loyalty to brands was most brightly and visually showed, both from employees, and from buyers. It’s the year when brands turn showed the loyalty both to employees and to buyers.
It’s the year of difficulties and new possibilities, the year of overcoming and revaluation of values. In general, 2009 is not simple, but very interesting and considerable year in the history of the Russian retail.

Upon the whole, for SELA Corporation, practically all projected in pre-crisis time plans, have been carried out. Even those plans which have appeared in the beginning of the year we managed to realize. It was difficult enough, but we have consulted.
In spite of the crisis ТМ SELA continued to develop not only its own chain, but a partner’s chain too. Within a year it has been opened own six shops: 3 shops in Moscow (in ТРЦ «Rio the Grandee», "Metropolis" and the shopping center "Begovaya"), 2 in St.-Petersburg (trade complex “Rodeo Drive "and" Sytninsky »), and also 50 franchising shops on all country.

A momentous event for the Company was changes of management structure in Russian branch of the Corporation and appearance of the central office in Moscow. But the most important thing, certainly, rewarding of our brand by a medal of "1 000 best enterprises of Russia».
Among the most successful for us Moscow complexes it is possible to name the shopping centers «Mega Blaya Dacha», and also "Airbus", "Domodedovsky", "Arial" in Altufevo and, of course, the shopping center "European". In St.-Petersburg good results have been shown by «Mega Dybenko», the shopping center "Balkan" and "Academic". From regional projects it is necessary to mark Kazan shopping center "Ring", and also repeatedly mentioned "Mega" - a brand which has pleased us also in Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and, certainly, Ekaterinburg. We hope that new line of shopping center "Greenwich" in this city becomes not less successful. Among regions where our franchises work, Krasnoyarsk, Samara, Voronezh, Tomsk and Sochi are especially good looking.
